Local Practices for Atlantia Archery

Given that practices can change somewhat often, if you are interested in attending any of these practices, please contact the marshal listed to confirm that the practice is happening as scheduled, and to get directions. This list is maintained directly by the local marshals.

Maryland
	Bright Hills

		Notes	The Archery Range is off Needwood Road off Redland Blvd not far from Shady Grove Road in Montgomery County, Maryland. It is part of the MNC-PPC parks. Practices are held weekly in good weather and are announced on the Storvik yahoo list, or call for info.

		Notes	Archery meets a couple of times a month on Sundays, but the dates vary depending upon SCA events and mundane activities. 		Notes	Weather permitting, I will be opening my range, here in Flint Hill, VA 1pm to till... At this time we have 10, 15, 20, 30 and pending safety issues, the 40 yards available!! So come out and join us. Royal rounds (depending), practice, instruction, equipment fine tuning, mechanics, MiT and Warrant class (make prior arrangements), share target design & builds, rules review, and when we get into the season further, there will be opportunities to cookout and a fire pit if longer practices ensue! 	Tir-y-Don

		Notes	Ranges to 80 yds available. The park charges a fee of $2/day or you can get an Annual pass for $20. Normally, archers are required to attend a safety class before shooting, but exceptions are usually made for visitors, when shooting with a group of qualified archers.
	Yarvid

		Notes	Yarnvid`s regular Archery Practice is held every Sunday, weather permitting, at Rockwood Park in Chesterfield County. Rockwood Park is located just north of Hull Street Road on Courthouse Road. Enter the park from either entrance and follow the signs to the archery range. The parking lot will accomodate about 12 or 15 cars, follow the paved path from the parking lot down the power line clearing and turn right when the path crossed a paved walking path. The range we usually use is the second on the left.
