Rules for B) Royal Round -PERIOD - 2009 Period Season

1. Age
   1. Adults are age 14 and up.
2. Scoring
   1. Period Royal Round consists of the following:
      1. 40 Yards
      2. 30 Yards
      3. 20 Yards
      4. Timed end of 30 Seconds at 20 Yards
   2. Individual average is determined by the 3 highest scores
   3. Scores may be shot on three different days
3. Period Bow types
   1. Recurves or Longbows:
      1. No cutout sight windows
      2. No Limb markings
   2. Crossbows:
      1. Solid wooden stock in the shape of pre-1650 crossbows
      2. The only sight allowed is a simple, fixed, rear sight
      3. No artificial supports
4. Period Arrows and Bolts
   1. No Plastic nocks
   2. Bolt nocks may be reinforced with metal
   3. Arrow nocks may be reinforced with natural materials
5. Scoring Divisions
   1. Open: Recurves or Longbows, any poundage. Crossbows cannot compete
   2. Longbow: any poundage
   3. Crossbow: any poundage
