A very heartfelt thank you to all the archers who participated in this year's competition, and to all the marshals who took the time to set up the shoot and record the scores.
As usual, medallions will be awarded to top 3 archers of the winning kingdom in every division, with the following exceptions:
- additional silver medallions will be awarded to the second place kingdom in the Open division (this year AN TIR)
- The top 3 archers overall in the Youth division receive medallions as indicated in the letter above
Medallions will be available for the winners toward the end of next month.
The 2010 season starts on 1 February. There are changes to the rules for the 2010 season, in particular for the Youth and Children divisions where the distances have been lengthened, as well as several new requirements, and starting in 2010 ALL divisions will have medallions awarded in the same way, i.e. the average of the top 3 from each Kingdom, and this includes the two younger divisions. The new rules have already been posted on the web site, please be sure to read them carefully prior to the start of the season.
Thank you again for the great participation, especially as we transitioned to the new site. I really look forward to the new season, and many new scores.
Shoot well!
- Lorenzo
