Rules:
Captain of Eagles AAA Challenge by Master William Cristofore of Devonshire, OGGS, OP The AS 50 Captain of Eagles Tourney (Summits Championship) involved a lot more than just arrows. I wanted to capture some of the fun of using multiple weapons in two disciplines and encourage it in the Summits. This challenge also adds a bit of tourney pressure by requiring declaration of scoring and limits on when it can be shot. Axe end= 10 throws at a hard target. Minimum 10' distance. Scoring 3-2-1 for 3" - 8" - 14" circle. [Standard royal round scoring] Atl-atl end= 3 Throws from 15 yards, AND 3 Throws from 20 yards. 5-4-3-2-1 gold highest [Standard scoring using 122cm target.] Archery end= 6 arrows OR 30 second timed round at 40 cm target. 5-4-3-2-1 gold highest [Standard Open scoring using 40 cm target] Axe + atl-atl + archery = Completed scoring round. Each end must be declared as your scoring end before starting. You may practice all you want but you may only DECLARE one of each Type of scoring end on any day. You may have a completed round to submit in one day. The three ends must be COMPLETED within 8 days to submit the score. There is a LIMIT of one completed scoring round every other day. Extra Info: If two days have passed since the first end of a round, you may scratch the whole round and start over. I am allowing more than a week for completing as not all events or practices will have all weapons available at the same time. A round is completed on the day the third end is completed. Complete a round on Friday, you may not complete your next round until Sunday. Scores may be submitted on the Scores.sca.org site under Summits Eagles' Challenge. Shoot will end in October 2016
