Anastasie`s November Challenge
Greetings! November’s challenge is as follows:
This month we will be shooting at an eight pointed star inside another eight pointed star. Take a 24” by 24” target face (blank paper) and divided it into quarters. In the center of each quarter mark the center of each one. Place the ruler so that the center mark is on the 5 and draw a line from the 1” to the 10” measurement. You will need to repeat this three more times. These will be the measurements that will be used for the peaks of the large stars. For the valley of the star you will need to draw an additional 4 lines with an overall measurement of 8” using the same technique as with the 10” lines. You can now connect the peaks with valleys to make the outer star. For the inner star, start on the valley lines of the outer star and place the number 2 on the ruler in the center and 2” on each side that will be a total of 4”. On the peak lines mark the line so that you have a total of a 2” line marked, 1” on each side of the center. Once all the peaks and valleys are marked, connect them. This will give you the inner star. You can color them any color you wish. I know that these instructions are confusing so there will also be an example picture.
Number of waves:
2 waves of 8 arrows
1 30 second timed wave
Scoring:
Inner star = 5 points
Outer star = 3 points
