Artemisia Archery Scores

Greetings my fellow Archers I am THL Poplyr Childs , Archer General for the Kingdom of Artemisia. If you have any questions or suggestions regarding archery in the kingdom, please feel free to contact me, especially if you are new or have concerns.

I would like to thank the web minister of the site, Forester Muldonny. If you have any suggestions for the site, upgrades, changes, please let him know so we can make this the best site possible.

This score site has a number of purposes. One of the main ones is tracking Royal Rounds and personal growth. The score site records Royal Rounds, Society IKAC, Event Shoots, and other Seasonal shoots. It might sound overwhelming, don't worry, all you need to do is reach out and it will be easy!

How do I participate?

Simply, show up! Come to a practice, or to an event, or to any other archery activity. All ages may participate, though there are some additional rules for youth. We will do our best to get you shooting as soon as possible in the easiest way! Please remember this is a volunteer organization, so there may not be loaner equipment available, but know we will do our best.

Why archery?

It's fun! But also:

How to submit scores?

Do you have a score to submit or questions about, an event, royal round, IKAC or another shoot?

If you are a marshal you can submit scores directly on the Scores Site by requesting an account from me. This will allow you to submit scores yourself. If you have any issues please contact me.

Otherwise Email them to me, THL Poplyr Childs and the Score Keeper with the following information:

• The name and date of the event the shoot was held at
  
  
• The name and SCA number of the Archery Marshal overseeing the shoot
  
  
• Each archer`s Society name, modern name, Society branch and bow type (longbow, recurve, crossbow, please indicate if period equipment was used)
  
  
• For Royal Rounds: Each archer`s scores at 40, 30, 20, timed, and the total score in the Royal Round
  
  
• For Event Shoots, or Seasonal Shoots, only the total score per person is required
