Description |
Blooming Rose - 6 arrows untimed, approximately 12-15 yards. Four identical targets that depict a rose in full bloom on a stem with leaves, about 5 inches wide by 16 inches tall. Each target rests on the ground so that the rose appears to be growing out of the ground. Blooming flower is worth 2 points, and stem/leaves are worth 1 point. Archer must score once on each target before they can score multiple times on a target.
Falling Leaves - 6 arrows untimed, 20 yards. 10 life-sized or slightly larger images of colorful fall leaves scattered across a 24x48 inch background. 2 points per leaf, but each leaf may only be scored once.
Flower Wreath - 6 arrows untimed, 20 yards. 9 different images of floral wreaths with diameter ranging from 3-7 inches. 3 smallest targets worth 3 points each, 3 medium sized targets worth 2 points each, 3 large targets worth 1 point each. Smallest targets along the top and bottom of 24x48 inch backing. Archer must be inside the wreath band/ring to score.
Japanese Beetle - 6 arrows untimed, 20 yards. Friend/foe. Image of a Japanese Beetle perched on the upper part of a flower. Beetle is about 7 inches wide by 14 inches long for the body. +2 points for hitting the beetle, and -1 point for hitting the flower. Archer gets +2 points even if the arrow hits the flower as long as it breaks the line for a beetle part such as leg or antenna.
Timed - 30 seconds, 20 yards. Image of a narrow petaled pink Dahlia flower with a yellow center (approx 3 inches diameter). Flower is oriented to resemble a compass rose, with an extra petal on the “SouthEast” portion that makes it wider than the rest. 3 points for hitting the yellow center, 2 points for any other part of the flower. |
