The Honorable Lady Johanna, Archos Trewpeny welcomed over 90 archery participants over the weekend, 33 shooting the Handbow GAT, one lonely crossbowman who deserves recognition for his 74 points, Lucius von Bamburg. Favorite targets from the past 6 years, adding the current SSAC, beginning the Adiantum Championship, creating the Egils 3Pillars Archery competition and completing a Grand Archery Tournament: Four shoots for the flinging of the same arrows! ----------- A few fun facts from Scorekeeper Extraordinaire, Lady Gabrielle D`Arci. 1,722 arrows flung 5 Royals participated 10 `events` Bejeweled - Dazzling array of gems. Choose your color, more matches equals more points! Jousting with Gems - Bringing out the quintain - spinning target with its Anniversary set of gems. Ship Yard - Is this ship an ally or an enemy? Don’t bring home treasure from the Plague Ship! - Oh rats! Port-Able - Shoot a ‘porthole’ view of various Ports. Card-a-lot - It may not be as blissful as Camelot, but finding out the score after you shoot is gives mystery shooting a crowd favorite perspective! Hitting something always scores more than a miss! One Oar the Other - Drop an oar to disable the enemy`s ship. Earn your commander`s respect by collecting jeweled treasure. The Great Hunt - 3D and plushy, how hungry are you for a win? Local Pride – A fine tree hung with the Summit’s shields. Picturesque! Skill Boasting Gems – They are far and away, but not invisible. SSAC –Hit and Run - Targets mimic an enemy ‘sneaking’ up and ‘running’ away as you shoot different distances and timed rounds at them. Shooting this enters you in the Known World Seasonal Archery Competition!
