Avacal Archery Scores

Rules for Royal Round - 2009 Season

1. Age
   1. Adults are age 18 and up.
2. Scoring
   1. Modern Royal Round consists of the following:
      1. 40 Yards
      2. 30 Yards
      3. 20 Yards
      4. Timed end of 30 Seconds at 20 Yards
   2. Individual average is determined by the 3 highest scores
   3. Scores must be shot on three different days
3. Modern bow types
   1. Recurves or Longbows:
      1. Full or partial cutout sight windows
      2. Limb markings are allowed in the open division
   2. Crossbows:
      1. Plastic or modern composite stock
      2. The only sight allowed is a simple, fixed, rear sight
      3. No artificial supports
4. Scoring Divisions
   1. Open: Recurves or Longbows, any poundage. Crossbows cannot compete
   2. Longbow: any poundage
   3. Crossbow: any poundage
