SSAC Proposals by Season
Below is a list of the proposed shoots for future Society Seasonal Archery Challenge (SSAC) seasons. These proposals are listed under each season they qualify for so may be repeated in the listing below. Each SSAC Season has different qualifiers so that the shoots will vary over the course of a year. If you have any ideas or suggestions for a shoot please send them to either Sir Jon or Sir Jonathas. Ideas do not need to be fully complete/functional shoots even just a base concept is great, we will work with you to make the concept usable. A month before the beginning of each new season a vote will be taken to see what shoot will be used for the season.
Proposals
There are three types of proposals shown below:
- New - These are new shoots which have never been run before as an SSAC.
- Repeat - These are shoots which have already been run as and SSAC at least a year ago and may now be used again.
- Waiting - These are shoots which have been run in the SSAC recently and must wait for one year after their closing date before being available to run again.(The date they may be used again is shown in parentheses)
Winter
To qualify as a Winter shoot; all ends must be 20 yards and under, so that they can be shot in indoor ranges.
Spring
To qualify as a Spring shoot; fifty percent or more of the ends must be timed, hurry up stuff is growing!
Summer
To qualify as a Summer shoot; the Average of the ranges must be greater then 30 yards, get out and stretch your legs.
Fall
To qualify as a Fall shoot; fifty percent or more of the ends must be moving targets, because the leaves are falling! Targets must either be physically moving, or must force you to change your aim point with every single arrow.
